Cherry Blossoms

Will and I spent the morning of Good Friday checking out the cherry blossoms along the Tidal Basin. Aside from a little overcast, we were lucky to have decent weather. After living here for 2 years, I had yet to see them and we just made it this year as they were at the end of their prime. Will especially loved it because there were lots of trucks, airplanes, and helicopters (even Marine One) to check out.

Marine One flew over the Tidal Basin twice, but I don't think President Obama was present because I believe they fly in pairs then. There was another helicopter that kept flying back and forth too much closer to the water though, but seemed to be for tourist tours.

The blossoms were falling off the trees. Will wanted to get a closer look. After a short jog around the basin
