AUGUST

In August, we spent lots of time enjoying summer by exploring our neighborhood & (new) city and swimming.  We started to paint, hang pictures and decorate the house.  My boys had some major accomplishments.  Kyle was getting very mobile and Will learned to use the big potty (in three days) and started preschool.  His school provided an exception for him since his 3rd birthday isn't until after the September 1st cut off date.  Tommy particpated in the Chiacgo Triathlon again this year & completed the Olympic distance.  It is such an accomplishment (or self torture, depending on how you look at it ;) & we couldn't be more proud of him.

They had so much fun swimming together.  Will still talks about it.

Potty training was very easy for Will.  Although he was probably ready sooner, it was much easier on us in August than when we were traveling.



Kyle loves the stairs and learned how to go up & down them quickly.

 

Will likes school and has made lots of new friends (or as we like to call 'buddies')

 The kids had fun staying at the Hilton & cheering Dad on in the 90+ temps.
